The final exam is now available. Solutions for the second midterm are now available. Second midterm will be available on Thursday early in the morning. Check here. Solutions for the first midterm are now available. The first midterm is now available. Please print it and hand it in by Friday morning. The first midterm will be held NEXT Thursday, January 29th, NOT tomorrow (Jan 22nd) as has become to be believed. My apologies for creating this impression and any incorrect rumours. SO - THERE WILL BE A REGULAR CLASS TOMORROW, January 22nd. In preparation for this term, please review chapter 5, pp 149-156 (in case you have not already done so) and do homework problems up to there. Study the table of thermodynamical potentials and see if you can derive the relationships listed. The syllabus for this term is evolving and will be updated from time to time. Please check each week.
