System Requirements
     
  Hardware    32-bit version
Any decent computer.
(MASSCLEAN runs perfectly on my 6+ years old laptop).
  

64-bit version
Any 64-bit CPU computer
(has been tested on AMD and Intel 64-bit CPU's).

 

Memory : MASSCLEAN has been tested on systems with at least 256 MB RAM, 1-4 GB RAM is recommended.

 

HDD Space :  The installation requires less than 40 MB space. The size of the generated output depends on the mass of the cluster and on the size of the FITS images. For a mass in the 105-106 solar masses range, 2-10 GB of free space is recommended.

  Recommended Operating Systems : Ubuntu 8.x, 9.x; Scientific Linux 4.x, 5.x.  
  Mac OS is not officially supported. MASSCLEAN beta for Darwin 8.11 powerpc and Darwin 9.7.1 i386 are available for download.
